After watching the Air Speed Record scene from Martin Scorsese’s film “The Aviator” you are required to use your knowledge of film language and cinematic codes and conventions to analyse one of the following elements in depth:
• Mise-en-scene
• Cinematography
• Sound and Editing

You are to write a detailed analysis which discusses the effectiveness of one element and adheres to the following structure:

starwars 20th century/starwars 21st century
Star Wars:
the impact that had on me with the old trailer was low as it was to plain it had no effects or excitement in it. as this movie is a sci-fi movie it should have more music in the background to make the tension and make you sit in the edge of your seat, but this one did not have that only a narrative in the background talking it felt i was watching a documentary. The third starwars trailer was more exciting as the computer graphic has developed since then and it is much more effective as the music in the background was not a narrative talking but the actors talking which was much better to listen to without getting bored over the voice.
The Star Wars movie was very slow even when the characters were fighting with the light saber they were really slow so that they were in co-ordination but for the third Star Wars trailer everything was slow in the start and then it got faster really fast and the colours made everything more effective. the style was different in the speed and the effects and the difference was that the old one made you see but not feel the movie but for the new one it was much closer to make a person sit in the edge of their seat. overall i would have wanted to watch the newer version of the trailer if i had to choose.

METHOD
Make the 7 teenagers go on a road trip to the country side where the networks are really low or even unavailable. Make the night time rain but not just a spit a pouring rain. unexpectedly make the car broke down or out of fuel and nowhere near a gas station or a shop but an old looking house which looks like it’s been abandoned for awhile. While one of the teenagers is trying to fix the car let the other 6 wait in the car until one of them spots the house. After them arguing about going in or not make them go in the house with the statement of “we have no other choice.” They go in and look around the lights don’t work and it’s still raining outside. The survivor and one of the teenagers find a secret room which contains photos of strangers on the wall no knowing who they are or what they meant they look around. One by one the teenagers get stalked by the murderer and the klutz dies firsts dragging her to the torture room. The teenagers start to suspect that they’re not alone in the house. One by one they all get captured and dragged to the torture room. The survivor and her partner goes back in the secret room and see their friends’ photos on the wall, now they realize what the photos mean. The survivor’s partner goes out to ‘look’ for the murderer and heads to the kitchen and gets himself a kitchen knife. Let the murderer and the partner do the hide and seek game until finally the murderer shoots the partner and drags him to the torture room. Let the survivor get an axe and let her play hide and seek with the murderer while that is happening two police officers come somehow and check the house out let them live for awhile but then make them die one getting killed by the murderer and the other getting killed by the survivor by accident think that the officer was the murderer. After the game let the survivor kill the murderer and think she is safe until the murderer comes back alive and comes for revenge of the girl and a second movie comes out.
